Related Quest for Ovens Pages

The main Quest for Ovens web site has an Oven Sources page where I list information about where anybody can find places to get an oven.

Similarly, the Quest for Ovens pages includes a page about Oven Component Suppliers.

Purpose

This Marketplace page is intended specifically for members of Minnesota Oveneers who provide some kind of oven-related service or sell some oven-related materials.

I hope to get as much participation as possible.

I hope this will eventually include:

  • oven sellers
  • oven builders
  • oven materials suppliers
  • oven classes
  • suppliers of wood
  • suppliers of ingredients for baking in wood-fired ovens
  • suppliers of equipment for baking in wood-fired ovens

Oven Classes

These are intended to be classes available to Minnesotans (so western Wisconsin classes can be listed here).

Portable Brick Ovens

My classes for Portable Brick Ovens can be found on this page.

Suppliers of Ingredients

What is different about ingredients for a wood-fired oven as contrasted with any other kind of oven?

You could argue that there is no difference. On the other hand, there can be a signficant difference if you want to make pizza in the authentic, traditional, Neapolitan style.

A business that wants to earn certification from the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana must meet several measures to ensure that pizza that they produce is authentic, including the types and sources for their ingredients.

In cases where similar is close enough, there are sources for ingredients that are similar enough for many purposes.
